The institute is currently offering electrical engineering technologies at the following levels:

National Proficiency I

National Proficiency II

National Certificate I

National Certificate II

Admission into the course is accessible to anybody with the following background:

• Higher Educational Certificate at the Tertiary level
• Senior High School Graduates (SHS)
• Junior High School Graduates (JHS)
• Middle School Leaving Certificate (MSLC)
• Early School Leavers

Admission Requirements for short courses 

Short courses are available for individual, groups who want to upgrade their skills for initial employment advancement at the workplace. Such persons include.

1. Master Craft Persons (MCPs)
2. Apprentices
3. Sponsored Youth Adult
4. Formal Workers
5. Degree Holders

DURATION FOR COURSES

• One (1) Month
• Two (2) Months
• Three (3) Months
• Six (6) Months

NB; THE SHORT COURSE APPLICANTS CAN APPLY TO STUDY SOME FEW MODULES IN THE COURSE FOR A CERTIFICATE.

Applicants are allowed for unitized admissions in electrical engineering technologies and can come back at their convenience to further their learning.

LEVELS OF QUALIFICATIONS CURRENTLY RUNNIN

Proficiency I 

Admission to Proficiency I is open to all but not limited to the following:

• JHS leavers
• Apprentice
• Master craft persons
• Early School Leavers

Proficiency II

Admission to Proficiency II is open to students who have completed the Proficiency1 program.

National Certificate I

Admission to National Certificate I is open to:

• • SHS/ WASSCE candidates

• Students with a Proficiency II certificate who can read and write

National Certificate II

Admission to National Certificate II is opened to graduates with National Certificates I
